Aleksandra Zecevic wins 2015 Brightspace Innovation Award
The Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) and D2L recently announced that Western University Health Studies professor Aleksandra Zecevic has been named as a winner of the 2015 Brightspace Innovation Award in Teaching and Learning.
The award recognizes the innovative pedagogy of Dr. Zecevic’s fourth-year Gerontology and Practice course, a community-based learning course she taught in WALS in Fall 2014.
Dr. Zecevic, along with the four other award winners, will be recognized for their accomplishments and contributions to post-secondary teaching and learning at the 2015 STLHE Annual Conference to be held in Vancouver from June 16-19.
